Maud and Bernie’s theatre is quite radical and pure and I wanted the costumes to reflect that.
Amanda Donovan, who made the costumes, used the same roll of fabric for almost all.
It amplified the beautiful pleated works, and the modernity.
I was pleased by that simplicity.
