Mám was created in the west of Ireland, beaten by winds and seas, after a workshop in New Zealand. Mám speaks of painful, successive, relentless journeys…to bring us towards the light. As pages of our lives passe by, curtains drop heavily on the ground and their absence transforms the space.
Michael’s quest for integrity means that objects are rare and heavy, like the small wooden chairs in St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin.
