GBS: COSTUMES DESIGN

I worked few times with Kellie, who directs and teaches , both in a very fine way. Through a task she asked me, costuming a show about Bernard Shaw for her students, I discovered two things:
-the incredible style of Bernard Shaw (!!), which had not only wit but also elegance
- and also the department where Kellie does wizard work with her students, in UCD.: Ad Astra. A place where creation feels safe.
Ps:  I like the last photo where the students are ready to go on stage….the coolness of their attitudes is well match to Bernard Shaw!

Project led by Kellie Hughes, with her group of students, on Georges Bernard Shaw, Irish author famous for his intellectual agility, his open-mindedness, his sense of humor, but also for his great elegance. This, and her fascination with disguises, led Kellie to question her relationship to her characters, personas….
