Info

Sabine Dargent has designed numerous sets across a variety of disciplines: theatre, dance, and opera.

She has also worked as co-artistic director of a street theatre project, City Fusion, designing and managing a team of artists to create a large St. Patrick’s Day parade, designing sets for several stadium events, and illustrating a children’s book. Currently, she is preparing an exhibition as curator, while continuing a personal drawing project.

Collaboration is central to her work, aiming to fully integrate set design into a performance and to connect with the audience through beauty, helping them to understand and open themselves up.

Sabine is based primarily in Ireland, but many of her shows have toured internationally.

In March 2026, three of the shows she designed were presented: in Switzerland (Dancing Like a Bomb), Germany (Specky Clarke), and the United States (Bellow).
